Mothlopi luxury lodge (Tswalu Kalahari game reserve)

The project consists of a 200m³ rock thermal storage system to function as a semi-passive pre-conditioning system. The active secondary HVAC system consists of a Variable Refrigerant Volume system incorporating a heat recovery hot water system to act as backup to the heating of the domestic hot water as well as the pool. The primary domestic hot water system comprise of a solar central hot water system supplying the main lodge via a ring main system as well as dumping all additional heat to the pool when desired. 70 000 ℓ of underground water storage in included from where the domestic and fire water is supplied.
